Senate Committee on Aging Introduces Bipartisan Bill to Create Nationwide System of Background Checks ACTION NEEDED! Please write your Senator asking them to support a Nationwide System of Background Checks for Long-Term Care Workers. This bill would create a new system that would coordinate abuse and neglect registries with state law enforcement registries, and also add a federal component to the background check by searching the FBI's national database of crimanl history records.
